LSE supports bee conservation through campus rooftop beehives managed by LSESU's Beekeeping Society.

They promote sustainability and highlight bees' crucial role in food production. The 'Save the Bees' initiative includes planting pollinator-friendly herbs in wildflower gardens on campus - a fragrant way to support local biodiversity and attract bees.
LSE Honey 🍯
LSE produces its own dark and rich urban honey from the rooftop beehives. It's harvested by LSESU Beekeeping Society in the fall and is typically sold in seasonal batches on the Student Union website. The honey is also sometimes available with LSE's catering team.
